In this charity project created in cooperation with the iconic lager beer brand Pilsner Urquell, we captured the production of a limited edition bottle. The funds raised from the sales of the special edition went to support the non-profit organization Paraple, which supports people with spinal cord injuries caused by diseases or accidents. We tracked the entire process of creation of the bottle, from design and preparation to production to the final product, capturing traditional Czech glassmaking practices in one of the oldest glassworks in Karlovy Vary. Director Matyáš Fára not only directed the project, but also edited it. The filming was done on classic 35mm film technology, which was a challenge given the very limited time and budget constraints of the charity project.
